What compliment do you still remember being given?

I remember one time a coworker told me that I was the only person who could actually make sense of the messiest wiring jobs in the shop. It was just a random tuesday, but hearing that someone noticed the effort I put into keeping things organized and functional really stuck with me. It’s not exactly a poetic compliment, but for someone who spends all day tinkering with circuits, it meant a lot to know my work was genuinely appreciated.

That little moment changed how I look at my tasks. Before that, I used to think I was just grinding away at boring stuff, but realizing that people actually rely on my focus made me take a bit more pride in the small details. Sometimes people think technical stuff is just about fixing things, but hearing that I’m someone others can trust to get it right made me feel like I was doing something worth while.
