What are your thoughts on Richard Sherman acting like an idiot while being interviewed right after the game by Erin Andrews?
Man, that whole interview was wild. I remember watching it live and just shaking my head. People call him an idiot, but honestly, you gotta look at the adrenaline involved there. You just spent three hours bashing your body against guys twice your size, win the game in the final seconds, and then have someone shove a mic in your face. It’s hard to stay calm when you're still basically in fight-or-flight mode.
I get why it rubbed people the wrong way, though. It was definitely aggressive and kind of a bad look for the sport, but that's just how he is. He’s always been that guy who likes to talk trash and stir the pot. To be fair, if you're the best at what you do, you're gonna have an ego the size of a stadium. Some people love that intensity, others think it's just pure arrogance.
At the end of the day, it made for some legendary television. We're still talking about it years later, right? Everyone has their own way of dealing with that much pressure, and his way just happens to be loud and unfiltered. I don't think he's an idiot, just a guy who knows how to keep everyone's eyes on him.
