What profession is full of people with bloated egos?

honestly, the worst ones are usually those guys in high-end finance or corporate management. you meet them on job sites sometimes, especially when they're overseeing big renovations, and they act like they're curing cancer instead of just moving money around. they treat you like you're invisible until something goes wrong with the plumbing or the electrical, then suddenly they're experts on how things should be done. it's pretty exhausting dealing with someone who thinks their time is worth ten times yours just because they wear a suit.

then there’s the tech crowd. i've worked on a few fancy office fit-outs for those software startups, and man, the arrogance is on another level. they talk like they're changing the world with some new app, but they can't even figure out how to properly communicate a simple request. they've got this weird superiority complex, thinking that because they spend all day behind a screen, they’re automatically the smartest person in the room. it gets old real fast when they talk down to you while you're literally fixing their workspace.
