How old are you, and what's the best piece of advice you have for someone 10 years younger than you? What question do you have for someone 10 years older?
I'm 19, so I guess that puts me right at the starting line of figuring everything out. Honestly, the best advice I could give to a 9-year-old—or anyone ten years younger—is to stop trying to rush into being an adult. Spend way more time outside and actually getting your hands dirty with hobbies instead of just staring at screens all day. You don't realize how much freedom you have until it’s gone, so just enjoy not having a schedule for a bit longer.
As for someone ten years older, I'm genuinely curious about how you actually deal with the pressure of expectations. Does it get easier to ignore what everyone else thinks you should be doing with your life once you hit your late twenties, or do you just get better at faking it? I feel like I'm constantly being pushed in a dozen different directions and I’d love to know if that feeling ever just fades away.
