What movie fucked you up mentally?

Requiem for a Dream is definitely the one that comes to mind immediately. I remember watching it years ago and just sitting there in complete silence once the credits started rolling. The way it depicts addiction, specifically how it slowly strips away every shred of humanity and hope from the characters, was just brutal to witness. That final montage still haunts me whenever I think about it.

Another one that really messed with my head was The Road. It’s so bleak and gray that you can almost feel the cold through the screen. As someone who spends a lot of time analyzing narratives, it really stood out because it doesn't offer any easy comfort or a happy ending. It just forces you to confront how fragile everything we take for granted actually is. I honestly had to take a long walk outside just to shake off the gloom after that movie.
