You find 1000 dollars folded up on the sidewalk. Its not a trap, no one saw you pick it up. Knowing yourself best, what are you most likely to do with it?

"First I'd examine the bills to see if they were real. Then I'd probably pick it up and pocket it, but then wait around where I found it for a good 20-30 minutes at least to see if anyone comes looking for it. I wouldn't be asking people, "Hey, did you drop a thousand bucks?" or anything like that, but if someone came up to me and asked if I had seen ten 100 dollar bills lying on the ground right there I'd give it to them. That's assuming I have time to wait there for 20 minutes, if not I might report it to the police. If I did wait though and no one claimed it, I don't think I would call the police about it, as it seems unlikely it would be recovered by the owner. In that situation I'd probably just put it in my bank account and save it. "
