"Not me, but I was an eyewitness... When I was a kid, I visited a friend's house and their mom way shaving her cocker spaniel. I know that sounds like a dirty metaphor, but in this case it was an actual dog. The dog REALLY didn't like this. The poor thing was whining, crying and struggling to get away from the electric shaver. I commented on the dog's distress and the mom told me "she's just scared of the clipper noise. Don't worry about it." So I minded my own business and went about my day. The next day, I was visiting again. The (now shaved) dog was covered in small (1-2") blisters. Like, one for every 4-5 square inches of skin. It turns out, they hadn't ever lubricated the clippers in years and the friction of the metal blades had gotten them hot enough to give the dog 3rd degree burns all through the torturous grooming session. It was really an amazing dog to endure that without trying to bite or even a growl... "

"So one day, I was outside playing fetch with my dog, who has a habit of not giving the ball back after he gets it. What he usually does instead is he gets as close as he can to me and just waits for me to try and get the ball off him, but 99.9% of the time he's too fast for me and he prances off presumably thinking "trolololol" in his doggy head while I then chase him around the garden. One day though, as I was chasing him, I tripped over and literally went flying, and I happened to land right on top of my dog. Luckily, my dog didn't seem to give a fuck, since as soon as I got off him he made a dive for the ball and went about with his prancing again. Fucking Airedale Terriers man, bomb proof dogs they are. TL DR: Tripped over and squashed my dog, not a fuck was given by him though "

"When I was 8 I had a hamster and I would let him roam around from time to time. One day he crawled under our recliner. I tilted it back to find him like it was hide-and-seek, complete with the "aha I found you!" tomfoolery, then proceeded to put the recliner back down. Lil' guy managed to move right under one of the legs and, well, that became the day I murdered my pet and let out the most feminine scream my father would ever hear. "

A few years ago I had a super cute papillon, his name was Frank Grimes. Anywho, this dog was a moron. He would constantly be underfoot and got stepped on at least three times a day. Well one day I was carrying a bag of cat food and Grimey tripped me. I landed right on that dog with myself and the cat food. I rushed him to an emergency vet, but they couldn't save him. I was devastated and felt horrible telling the kids. I couldn't look into their eyes for days Tl dr squished the puppy with cat food

In high school, I would sit in the grass during my lunch periods. One time, I sat down and heard a +CRUNCH+. It was a snail. : (

Got a german shepherd that was too excited by our 15 year old cat. The dog barked at the cat, then the cat started to shake and was never right again for the next two weeks until it finally died.

Shot one for chasing cattle. It stampeded a herd bad enough that a large calf broke its leg. The rules are different in rural areas. It is actually mandated by law. I felt bad about it, but I really did not feel like having a lien put on my place the next time the dog got it into its head to chase cows again.

When I was 6 I thought I would give my fish some root beer to drink because I knew I didn't like water all the time and I just wanted to spoil them a little with sugary goodness. My bad.
