What are everyone's thoughts on the charges that were handed out today to the officer in the Breanna Taylor case?

Makes sense. The cops that were sent were doing precisely what they were told to. The person at fault is whoever went to the judge and got the wrong address. And it's pretty difficult to know where in the buerocrstic process that actually occurred. Edit: so I just find out they actually did have a warrant for Taylor's address. I guess the only person you can find responsible are the lawmakers that permit the use of no knock warrants

Well the attorney general's report basically says that they did indeed knock and that the boyfriend fired shots first. If that's true, I don't see how you can argue that they should be arrested. But I think most everyone has already picked their side and is gonna stick with it.

The officers were acting under incorrect information. That is the error of the department, and it is this error that should be reviewed so that similar mistakes do not occur in the future. Another error occurred when the officer endangered the lives of those who were not within the (erroneous) apartment, thus the charges.

It's typical of our justice system. Disturbing and unfair. I can't stop thinking about Breonna's Mom and how much worse she feels today.
