starch is the most common one you'll run into, honestly. whenever i'm prepping my own meals or just hanging out, it's basically the main thing i think of when someone mentions polysaccharides. it’s pretty much how plants store their energy, like in potatoes or pasta that keeps me going through the day.

besides starch, things like cellulose and glycogen are also classic examples. cellulose is what makes up the cell walls in plants, so it's everywhere in nature. glycogen is what our bodies use to store energy, so it’s super important for keeping us functional. keep it simple and just remember those three, and you'll be fine.
