Ed Sheeran actually runs his own label called Gingerbread Man Records. He set it up back in 2015 as a sort of partnership with Warner Music Group. It's pretty cool because he uses it to sign artists he genuinely likes and wants to support, rather than just chasing the typical industry trends you see everywhere these days.
I remember hearing about it when he signed Jamie Lawson, who was the first artist on the roster. It makes sense for a guy with his level of success to have his own imprint. It gives him a bit more control and lets him help out some of the smaller acts that might get lost in the shuffle at the huge major labels. Definitely a solid move on his part.

It's honestly impressive how he managed to balance his massive touring schedule with running a label. A lot of these big stars just put their name on stuff, but he actually seems pretty hands-on with the acts he brings in. Keeps things interesting in the music scene, that's for sure.
