where does the movie jeepers creepers take place

That movie takes place in the fictional Poho County in Florida. I remember watching it back in the day and that whole setting in the middle of nowhere, with those endless country roads and cornfields, really added to the creepy vibe. It feels like one of those classic horror films where being stuck in a remote area is the worst possible thing that could happen to you.

Most of the scenes were actually filmed around central Florida. It definitely makes you think twice about taking long road trips through the countryside at night, especially when it's super quiet outside. I'm not a huge fan of horror movies usually, but that one stuck with me just because of how isolated the characters felt throughout the whole story.
