In the Milky Way galaxy, there are countless solar systems, each potentially hosting planets, moons, asteroids, and other celestial bodies. Some of the notable solar systems within the Milky Way include:
Our Solar System – The system where Earth resides, with the Sun and its planets including Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
Alpha Centauri System – The closest star system to our own, consisting of three stars: Alpha Centauri A, Alpha Centauri B, and Proxima Centauri. Proxima Centauri has been found to have an exoplanet in its habitable zone.
Tau Ceti System – A nearby star system known to have multiple planets, including some potentially within the habitable zone.
TRAPPIST-1 System – A star system with seven known Earth-sized planets, three of which are within the habitable zone where liquid water could exist.
Kepler-90 System – Known to have eight planets, similar to our solar system, and was the first known to have as many planets as ours.
