  1. Right now Virat Kohli has a massive 51 centuries in One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 30 centuries in Test matches. The ODI record is the really huge one because he actually passed Sachin Tendulkar’s 49 centuries in the 2023 World Cup semi-final against New Zealand, which was just crazy to watch. It was a massive moment in cricket history because for so long everyone thought that ODI record was untouchable, but Kohli chased it down and even went past it, cementing his position as the greatest ODI player of all time in my opinion.

The Test record of 30 centuries is also super impressive, putting him right up there with the legends. He’s got 7 double centuries in Tests too, which is the most by any Indian batsman, which just shows how immense his hunger is once he gets past a hundred. Remember that period from 2016 to 2018 where he was just smashing them for fun? He was piling up centuries in both formats like it was nothing, reaching double digits in a calendar year more than once. The drought he had a couple of years ago was tough to watch, but he totally bounced back. So yeah, 51 in ODIs and 30 in Tests, 82 total international hundreds if you count the one T20I ton, which is just staggering. I wonder if he can get to 100 international tons total, he’s got a decent chance if he plays for a few more years, especially since he’s still so dominant in the ODI format.

  2. Virat is on 51 ODI centuries and 30 Test centuries. He basically owns the ODI record now and he’s one of the few active players with over 30 Test tons. I was there for one of his Test hundreds against England a while back and the atmosphere when he reached the mark was electric, something I’ll never forget.

  3. The King has 51 ODI hundreds now, which is the most ever, and he’s also got 30 Test tons. That’s a total of 81 centuries just in these two formats. I was following the World Cup last year and seeing him get number 50 against New Zealand was legendary stuff, especially since it was at his home ground, the Wankhede. He’s been absolutely immense in ODIs, seriously the chase master nickname isn’t just for show. In Tests he’s not scoring them as quickly as he was a few years ago but 30 is still a phenomenal number, and he’s still got a bit more gas left in the tank I reckon.

  4. It’s 51 in ODIs and 30 in Tests, putting him at 81 for the two big formats. The fifty ODI centuries landmark was huge news last year, he properly smashed Tendulkar’s record. It’s funny because for a while there everyone was panicking because he went through that patch where he didn’t score a ton for ages, but he came back roaring. It just shows you that form is temporary but class is permanent. I think he will definitely add a few more to both columns before he calls it a day.

  5. Last I checked, he has 51 centuries in ODIs, which is insane and the world record, and 30 centuries in Test cricket. He’s closing in on that 100 international centuries mark too if you count the T20I one he got. I think the Test hundreds are actually harder to get these days with the way pitches have changed, so that 30 is really valuable.

  6. The latest number is 51 centuries in ODIs and 30 centuries in Tests. Total 81 across the two main formats. He’s been an absolute machine for Indian cricket, especially in ODIs, that 51 is just out of this world. Remember the phase where he scored basically a hundred in every second game? Crazy consistency.

  7. Virat Kohli has scored a total of:50 centuries in ODIs (One Day Internationals)29 centuries in Test CricketThis makes a total of 80 centuries across all international formats for Virat Kohli as of January 2024.

  8. He’s got 51 ODI centuries and 30 Test centuries. The fifty mark in ODIs was a major milestone, proving he’s the best to ever play the 50-over game. Hope he racks up a few more Test hundreds quickly, especially overseas. It would be amazing to see him get to 35-40 Test centuries before he retires.
