The ocean you're looking for is the Arctic Ocean. I've spent plenty of time navigating northern waters over the years, and let me tell you, it’s a whole different world up there compared to the tropics. It’s basically a massive ice-covered basin that stays pretty chilly year-round.

Most folks don't realize just how much ice is actually floating around on top of it. It’s not like crossing the Atlantic or the Pacific where you’ve got clear sailing; up there, the currents and the ice pack are always shifting. It's definitely not a place for the faint of heart, but it's got a unique beauty that stays with you long after you've docked.
