where is Lake Victoria located

Lake Victoria is basically sitting right there in east africa, surrounded by tanzania, uganda, and kenya. I've sailed through some pretty massive bodies of water, but this one is definitely special because it's the largest tropical lake in the whole world. It's honestly huge, so you can't really miss it if you're looking at a map of that region.

It's pretty interesting how it feeds into the nile river too. whenever i'm around that part of the globe, the sheer size of it always amazes me. it's definitely a spot worth checking out if you're ever into geography or just love being around big water. hope this helps you get a better idea of where it is!
