where is Lake Huron located

Lake Huron is one of the big ones, right on the border between the united states and canada. If you're looking at a map, it sits right there in the great lakes region. I've spent plenty of time navigating around that area, and let me tell you, it's a massive body of water that can get pretty choppy when the weather turns.

Most of it is shared between the state of michigan to the west and the province of ontario to the east. It's connected to lake michigan through the straits of mackinac, so sometimes people treat them as one big basin. It's a busy spot for shipping and just beautiful to be out on when the conditions are right, though you definitely gotta keep your wits about you with how quickly things can change out there.
