where are the Himalayas located
The himalayas are basically this massive mountain range stretching across asia, separating the indian subcontinent from the tibetan plateau. Whenever i'm flying over that region, it honestly looks like the roof of the world from the cockpit. They cut through five different countries, starting from pakistan and india, then running through nepal and bhutan, and finally reaching into china.
It's pretty wild how huge they are when you see them from above. You've got some of the tallest peaks on the planet packed into that stretch, like everest and k2. Honestly, if you're ever planning to visit or just looking at a map, just remember they form a giant arc across the northern part of south asia. It's definitely one of the most breathtaking views you can get, even if you're just passing by at cruising altitude.
