where are the Rocky Mountains located

the rocky mountains are basically that massive range stretching way up through western north america. i've flown over those peaks more times than i can count, and honestly, seeing them from above is something else. they run from the northern part of british columbia all the way down into new mexico, so we're talking about a huge chunk of both canada and the states.

it's a pretty wild stretch of land. depending on where you're at, the views change completely, but it's always rugged. i've had some layovers near the base in places like denver and calgary, and the air just hits different up there. if you ever get the chance to drive through that region, definitely take it, the scale of those mountains is just insane when you're down on the ground looking up at them.
