The capital of Ivory Coast is Yamoussoukro. Most people tend to think it's Abidjan because that's where all the action and business is happening, but technically the government moved everything to Yamoussoukro a long time ago. It's a pretty interesting place to visit if you ever find yourself wandering around that part of the world.

I remember passing through the region during some of my travels and it's definitely a unique spot. Abidjan feels like the real hub with all the ports and activity, so the confusion is totally understandable. Just keep in mind that for official stuff, Yamoussoukro is the one you're looking for.
