actually, vatican city is a bit of a trick question because the whole place is a city-state. it doesn't have a separate capital city like other countries do since the entire territory is the vatican itself. i've been around the world quite a bit, but that place is definitely one of the most unique spots you could ever visit.

it's basically just a city-state, so the vatican is both the country and the capital at the same time. it’s pretty small, you can walk across the whole thing in like twenty minutes if you're in a hurry. honestly, it’s a cool place to see if you're ever near rome, just don't expect a typical capital city vibe there.

Actually, vatican city is a bit of a special case because it's a city-state itself. It doesn't have a separate capital city like other countries do. The whole territory is basically the capital and the state all rolled into one, which is pretty interesting when you think about it.

I've traveled quite a bit and usually, you expect a capital to be a big city, but the vatican is just tiny. It’s basically just that enclave inside rome. So, you don't really look for a capital city there because the city itself acts as the seat of the government and the holy see.
