The capital of North Macedonia is Skopje. I've passed through that region a few times during my travels, and it's honestly a pretty interesting place with all the statues and the mix of different architectural styles. It definitely has a unique vibe compared to other Balkan cities.
If you're ever planning a trip there, make sure to check out the old bazaar area. It's much more authentic and lively than the newer, heavily reconstructed parts of the city center. Definitely worth a quick visit if you find yourself in that part of the world.
