What is something done in another culture that you wish your culture would adopt?

Zambian funerals (possibly African funerals in general, idk, I speak to the country I lived in. When someone died, we would go to the home of the family of the deceased. All the chairs and furniture are set up outside around a fire. Giant vats of food would be made, and everyone would eat, cry, laugh, reminisce - for like 3 days. And they wail. They release their grief. It scared me the first time I heard it, it was such a chilling sound. I was young so I didn't know the pain of loss like that, but I get it now. It's theraputic and surrounded by the community there is safety to be vunerable. I hate American funerals, all suppressed and formal. (Side note: would love the communial gathering without the ugly sexism. Only men sit around the fire. Women and girls do the cooking, and serve the men on their knees. Also so super rapey cultural traditions involved sometimes. Didn't want to act like those are ok.)
