If she isn't perfect she cheats Lila: Poor and is raised by a single father Harold: He is 13 in 4th grade Sid: Anxiety issues Rhonda: Narcissistic Curly: Insane/Crazy Chocolate Boy: Addict Monkey Man: Tourette's Mr. Simmons: Gay (Not a bad thing, but for a kid show in the 90s) Stoop Kid: Won't leave his stoop

Bill and Mandy yes it was dark but people don't seem to remember just how dark it was. It's first season was on par with invader zim with how morbid it was.

Adventure time's super lighthearted tone and the fact that you didn't get into the dark stuff until you were used to it being fun and goofy works so well

Oh damn, there was this scene of a show with clay figurines that I'm trying to find. It started off cute and interesting, and got dark and creepy really fast. Something Mark Twain related. I'll see if I can find it, kudos if you have any idea what I'm talking about here FOUND IT. Apparently it was banned from broadcasting.

I grew up watching the Jetsons, they lived in buildings up above the clouds because the pollution down below was so bad. Never thought about how messed up that was until I was watching clips of the show as an adult. They predicted what our future might look like all too accurately.

Timmy from The Fairly Oddparents was probably just severely mentally ill. Not a far leap considering the neglect from his parents, bullying at school, and straight up abuse from his babysitter.
