"People have a tendency to pick and choose "news sources" to fit a narrative. I can't trust anything I read on the news anymore- I have to actually research everything that makes a headline to be sure the article is in any way accurate. In the year 2000, voting changed in America. States can decide to take the popular vote away and use other ways to determine a winner for our President. Sounds pretty scummy if you ask me. Let the votes count. Politicians have done all they can to devalue our contribution in the process and that needs to stop.

A lack of acute Patriotism and Nationalism to begin with, along with embarrassingly bad Social Security system for a first world developed economy as well as a political system led by greed and Establishment of power. These problems can be fixed, but we need to fix people for that first.
