People who have taken acid, or any psychedelic drugs, what was it like?

I've taken shrooms. I've started enjoying them this year and my first experience was trippy and fun. I had the experience in segments. First was my balance being off because my depth perception was. Nothing scary, it just felt like my eyes were rear view mirrors where things were closer than they appeared. Second segment was where my body felt tingly and sensitive. I didn't realize until my wife covered me in a fleece blanket and it felt amazing!! Third was my vision changing again but it slowed things down almost like..the matrix, I think? Lol I have more detail but it's a lot to type out at the moment. If you're not allergic I'd encourage anyone to try, BUT do it with an experienced person around. Someone who possibly knows how to measure out the shrooms before you take them. I don't recommend going down that path alone.
