What's the most B.S. Ted Talk you've ever listened to?

"Most of them. TED is kinda garbage. It's this weird cult where rich people go to rub shoulders. They've had all kinds of hucksters on. It's part of this very dangerous trend of fake "mind expanding" content. I'd compare it to fake "health food" that's still loaded with sugar, and has very little nutritional content. You think you're consuming something educational, but it's pretty much just junk. You might as well watch cartoons. The personification of a TED talk, and one of my favorite people I love to hate, is Malcolm Gladwell. He pioneered the practice of "idea pedaling". His work has a veneer of authenticity, as if he knows exactly what he's talking about, and he frequently consults with experts however he frequently pushes these empty theories, with very little evidence, as if they are completely certain. This is abundantly clear if you take a look at most of his work, especially something you're familiar with. I love TED by the way, they have some great speakers. "

Probably the one with Sam Hyde.
"Disclaimer: I probably haven't even watched 50 TED talks, to be fair. But by far one of the worst I've watched before I came to watch the ones listed here is "Four reasons you should stop watching the news" by Rolf Dobelli. It felt like a challenge that he made for himself to spontaneously spout whatever comes to mind on an impromptu, made-up topic for 4 straight minutes. The claims and reasonings were either outlandish, poorly explained or lacked solid backing. There was an impression that he was trying hard to use a shock factor disguised as a mind opener to get through to the audience, but came across as an unconvincing naysayer. That was 4 minutes that I am never getting back. "
Shoe tying and how to dry your hands with one paper towel. Fuck off, I'm using two paper towels.
The Sam Hyde ted talk is objectively the most BS out of them all.
Any TED talk. All public speaking is geared for bullshitting. Read a book instead.
The one about power poses, apparently that study was the result of a LOT of P-hacking so it's basically complete bunk.
Technically this one, except it's probably one of the best TED talks and totally parodies all the other TED talks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8S0FDjFBj8o
That one the woman did with her rapist. I found that entire thing very suspect.
Definitely not 2070 Paradigm Shift. That shit is on fire.
