What school rule bothered you back then, and you wish it stopped so that the other batches wouldn't have to deal with it?

"Dress codes for girls. My parents were very strict about making sure my skirts were NEVER short, and my tops were never revealing, and I STILL got pulled aside to be inspected by teachers. Even when it turned out that my straps were indeed "at least three fingers thick," the fact that I was pulled aside, shamed in front of my whole class, and then sent down to the office to be measured/to prove that my clothes fit the dress code was humiliating enough. This wasn't even high school age. I'm talking about grade 4-6... 10 & 11 year old girls being asked to show the male principal that their straps are 3 fingers thick. "

In elementary school we weren't allowed to talk the first five minutes of lunch. We also weren't allowed to talk the last five minutes of lunch. The middle 15 minutes we could talk but if we weren't like only talking extremely quietly the lunch staff would take our talking privileges away again. If caught breaking the lunchtime talking rules, you would be forced to stay in at recess. This rule was kind of stupid. Like I wanna talk about my Pokemon cards with my friends.

I liked being alone in the hallways and eating there cuz i had no friends. But that wasnt allowed so i was forced to eat in the lunch room with other people

Hats weren't allowed to be worn in school for me. Teachers would go an extra mile to give detentions out for wearing hats. I went to a school i a not so good area too so people would literally buy ecstasy on school grounds, but not hats were allowed.

No naps.... We really needed a nap time in high school. Between two sports, at least 6 classes and social pressures, we just really needed some shut eye.
