China is being very restrained. If similar protests occurred in any Western Country then the country would have called out the National Guard (or equivalent) long before now. And before you deny it OP, think about the actions of your country before you criticise another (looking at you Kent State University).

The Department of State (US) recently tweeted this, and announced visa restrictions on Chinese officials believed to be connected to the muslim internment camps. I'm glad at least something's being done, but China is the second most powerful country in the world, so they are free to do whatever they please in their own country (including Hong Kong) and not have to bend their knee to anyone. Suspending trade with China is a loss of jobs and money on both sides. When a company decides to censor people in a free country (Blizzard, Hollywood, Nba) that's just cowardly.
