In addition to City Escape, you have to check out the 2 remixes done for Sonic Generations. Classic Remix is like a 16-bit techno-ish redo of the song that uses the same melodies and the Modern Remix is like a Rock remix with a revamp to the melodies. You Always Make Me Smile by Kyle Andrews. Yeah yeah yeah it's kind of a love song in a way, but the rhythm is so feel good the lyrics don't even matter that much.

Every time I get laid off (twice in the last three years or so,) the first song I listen to is Camper Van Beethoven's Shut Us Down. It's happy and cheerful but clearly about some kind of ending. Short, too!
