What are some really fun date ideas to do with your bf/gf?

glass blowing demonstration was the coolest date i ever had. it's a lot more expensive where i am now, but there was a couch surfing event in chicago a long while back and it was pretty inexpensive. last summer, my boyfriend and i packed a small picnic and made a pitcher of a boozy drink and people-watched at the park. drunk bicycling home was interesting. also, we read aloud to each other, really dramatically. he read the first chapter of the hunger games in kevin malone's voice. we also play a lot of mario kart... sometimes we're not very imaginative. i like cooking together. or walking together. or drinking together. oh! we also play The Office workout game. just like the drinking game, except every rule corresponds to an amount of pushups or squats or something. also great with how i met your mother. EDIT: i laughed really hard when i realized i wrote about a picnic and people watched us do that. i meant people watching.
