Dont take shit too seriously. If someone gives you shit. Walk away. If someone opinion of you is better than you your own. Idk, listen to them. Have a goal in mind. But dont beat yourself to a pulp if you fail. Plenty of people didnt succeed at anything until their 40 and 50s. Relax, have fun, but also make sure you have stability in some way to not stress out over the little things. Also if you dislike something, make steps to change it. Small steps lead to change you do dont have to go drastic to make changes happen. Dont like your body. Change it by working out and eating better. Dont like your job, apply elsewhere in your spare time or even work towards promotions to be out of that scenario. All in all, you will fuck things up in life. Learn from them and move on. Also therapy if you cant get your shit together. If you are having mental troubles get mental health help. A psychiatrist to diagnose and therapy post diagnosis.

When you are a senior trying to figure out your post graduation choices: Go to your instate college. A private school 200k bachelors is not worth it ever. Be wary of community colleges. A lot if those credits (even with good grades) do not always transfer to your state school. State schools don't want to lose money. I have seen this trend in the past couple years. When choosing your major think about end goal/result. If you want to study basket weaving, look carefully at job options in that field. On career day take the salaries people throw around with a grain of salt. Ditch the high school significant other. There are other fish in the sea and frankly high school romances, while sweet and lovely, are best left in high school. Don't take everything so seriously. Have fun. Life goes fast and one day you will look back on your salad days with nostalgia.

Don't rush into relationships, take your time. It's okay to date, but it's also perfecty okay not to date either. If you haven't found anyone in high school, don't worry-- most high school relationships don't last. Some do, and maybe you'll luck out and find your life partner in high school. My parents started dating in high school, and two of my peers from marching band who dated are married now. Take your time, you have plenty of time to meet someone. Also, practice random acts of kindness--even if it's just telling someone you like their new haircut or smiling at another person. It goes a long way, and eventually people will respond in kind. Some people are just jerks though, but you cannot control that. People are going to be how they are. Ask for help when you need it.

First, whatever homework of any shape or form you have, get it done asap. No such thing as doing your homework too early. If you ever have the chance to get ahead of the lecture, take it. Lastly, go make some friends, but don't be too desperate that you'll hang out with some shady people.

"Sometimes we look back on our old high school colleagues and think "oh, he peaked in high school". That it definitely a bad thing. So if you feel like you're still figuring stuff out, and are confused, but working on it, you're probably on the right path. If you're putting your whole being into making sure you're popular in HS, you like have the wrong priorities. Own your own personality, try to learn as much as possible (grades be damned), and know that you are a work in progress. Also, you're probably pretty fucking cool just the way you are. "

-High school petty drama is useless. It's better to be 'boring' in high school than be involved in any of that. -don't get pregnant -it's ok to experiment with drugs but stay THE FUCK away from the hard shit and only do hallucinogens with trusted friends in a safe location -don't just go to college because your parents tell you to do so. If you feel like you aren't ready, then give yourself a break and focus on working (and saving money). It's better to start college a little later than to begin it and drop out.

Don't get sucked into petty drama. It's such a waste of time, and you'll get a reputation to be someone to avoid. Be kind and non-toxic to other people, and that energy will be reciprocated.
