People who oppose free insulin, why do you believe that it isn't a human right to live without paying thousands of dollars a month?

I'll take a stab and put on my devils advocate hat... So let's make all healthcare free, like in other countries. That money has to come from somewhere, which means my paycheck, and I'm healthy and rarely need medical care, so now I'm paying money into a system I'll hardly ever use, until I need it, at which point I'd be paying for it anyways... Why would I want to pay for other people's treatments? Why would I want to pay for something I don't see the direct benefit in? Selfish? For sure, but still not justifiable.

You've got a pancreas haven't you? You're just not trying hard enough!
Kids these days have it so easy... When I was a kid, I had to walk to/from school uphill both ways, carrying the local farmer's tractor on my back just so that I could buy a nice house at the age of 25. Kids these days don't know that struggle...
What about free food and free housing and free transportation and free clothing... It should be your human right to live your life as you see fit, provided you aren't hurting other people. That's as far as I'd go with human rights.
