My little brother used to smell like old maple syrup and orange juice. Sometimes I get lucky enough to get a whiff of it again, and it makes me want to tear up. I always think of his fat little legs and his little drooly face. It's like the smell makes the memory clearer, and then it disappears again.

Certain deodorants with ex boyfriends. And cherry Chapstick always reminds me of my favorite Chapstick I had when I was 5. It was Lambchop!

construction sites make me think of doing rescue work at 9/11. have no issues at all until i smell that and then it's ape shit crazy time.

Wet musty concrete reminds me of my aunt's house in Kentucky. Different perfumes make me remember different times in my life when I was partial to wearing those perfumes.

Yes, one of my colognes! I wore it down in Florida on my marching band trip, and we took a picture that I visualize every time I smell that cologne. Really fun and tiring trip.

Old Spice reminds me of my Papa. Coffee brewing reminds me of mornings at my Aunt's restaurant.

If I smell a couple certain perfumes that some of my ex-girlfriends used, I tend to remember random stuff that occurred with them. Usually good memories, though.

Not me, but my husband. I am an art teacher. Every time we use paint, my husband smells my hair and tells me I smell like his elementary school art room.
