Four months ago, I'd known this guys almost two weeks and we'd been getting friendly at work. I met him at the Queen Vic Markets midday on a Saturday, I wasn't sure if it was a date or not (even though he said he was wearing his 'date jacket'. I'm pretty oblivious). We wandered around looking for fruit to make jam, bought interesting delicacies in the deli, and custom-ground coffee. Then we trammed to his house and sat on his balcony drinking coffee and eating halva and turkish delight and talking for hours before we actually went downstairs and made the jam with a record playing in the background. While the jam cooled we sat upside down on the couch giggling like little kids before I asked him to show me his guitar. He was super nervous but played a bit of Just Like Heaven by The Cure for me before admitting that he had a huge crush on me and officially asking me out. Spent about nine hours together that day and we've been peas in a pod ever since.

Nothing super exciting happened. We met at a Chili's for dinner and ended up spending the night in my car. We didn't do anything sexual. We just talked all night and then I took him out to breakfast lol. It was just the easiest date ever. We just clicked instantly. It felt like we had known each other our whole lives. Now we are expecting our first child together and are planning on getting married.

I went on my first date with my now hubby, we decided to catch a movie and get some food. Food was first, I remember watching him on his best behaviour using a knife and fork to cut up and eat a hamburger xD. We then went to the cinema, saw a film, kissed near the end. Then we came out of the cinema, looked around and he said to me it's really nice and warm (it was mid September) do you want to me a short walk somewhere? I want to stay with you a bit longer. So we ended up walking all the way to his house, just chatting (walked straight past mine, I didn't even give it a thought). He invited me in, and his mum came running into his room in the morning to ask how his date went xD she still tells the story.

"It wasn't our very first date but my now husband and I had been dating for maybe two weeks at this point. He took me back to the restaurant we had our very first date at and we had brunch, then we walked across the street to a theatre to see "The Nutcracker" (it was Christmastime) we each picked out our own nutcrackers for souvenirs. It was just a really special and fun day. It's our tradition now to do it every year, this December will be our 5th time and we've got a beautiful collection of nutcrackers that we put out every Christmas. "

"Not the best, but one of the good ones. We met on a dating app and exchanged some pleasantries and fixed a date. We met in a park near my place and walk around a bit and he told me "hey, since we're in this neighbourhood and so close to the airport, wanna go watch airplanes land?" he asked. "aaahmm. Sure?!" I responded, thinking that next time I should propose a cafe. We walked for around 20 minutes until the spot he had in mind, and I was thinking how can I escape this fast, without being impolite... But we had the most amazing time watching airplanes landing. I was surprised that so many people were there and enjoying the show. Most of them brought snacks! I had so much fun just sitting there and talking and guessing you he stories of the people who were next to us. There wasn't a second date, but I hope he knows I had a great time. And I hope he'll forgive me for judging him too fast. "

"I used to work with a paramedic and we would hang out as a group. As soon as he quit the company he asked me out for Valentine's Day. When we met in front of the restaurant he apologized that he didn't bring me flowers saying "My Grandma told me how am I supposed to tell a girl I love her if I don't bring her flowers?". Honestly, that was the sweetest young love memory I hold today. We ate ribs and chocolate cake and went back to my room at my Grandma's (I was helping her after knee surgery) and made love for the first time. It's been 30 years and I will never forget it. "

Lovely guy! We went to a botanical gardens while it was raining and chatted for hours. He was a great swing dancer and taught me how to dance while it was raining. Made a move at the perfect time. Just a really lovely first date

My first boyfriend was in 7th grade and for our date he took me to the stables he worked at and let me pet the horses, which is absolute gold if you're a 13 year old girl like I was lol.
