What's the best hide and seek spot you've ever hidden in?

"We were playing a game called "Sardines" which is hide and seek in reverse, basically. One person hides and everyone else has to find them. When spotted, the person that finds them joins them in their hiding spot until everyone is there. We had been playing for awhile and so all the best spots had already been taken during a previous round so I didn't know where to hide. I ended up with no time left so I just sat next to a counter with my only cover being a couple of bar stools. I figured I would be found fast, we'd all laugh at my stupid hiding spot and the game would go on. I was hiding for well over 20min when the first person found me. Probably took another 15 for everyone else. We were all in our mid/late teens so I'm not sure how we could not be seen. "

"We were playing hide and seek in a school auditorium. I found a stage curtain that reached the floor, which had been sort of bundled up (kind of like you might do with a window curtain pulled to the side.) I hid inside of it. I only came out when I heard everyone gathering and the girl scout troop leader saying "Is that everybody?" I came out expecting everyone to be surprised at how well I was hiding, that no one found me. But I just got blank stares. This still feels like a minor injustice. "

Played hide and seek in my neighborhood woods. I climbed a tree and no one ever thought to look up meanwhile everyone was hiding in bushes or forts or something

This wasn't my spot but at my friends house my friend hid in a wardrobe behind all the clothes and I looked in there multiple times and literally couldn't see him

Never was good at hiding, but my dad is. He's been hiding for 15 years now. What a champ! When I find him I want him to teach me.

About 20 years ago all the kids in my neighborhood played hide and seek..I hid in a well we had in the back yard...they still looking for me

Ok so not hide and seek but a game called German Spotlight Tag. Basically the same thing but you find someone by shining a flashlight on them and saying 'German spotlight tag (name) Anyways we were playing this in a field at a friends farm and there weren't many hiding places. So me and my partner lied down on the ground and pulled the sage grass over us. We stayed hidden for about an hour. Even then no one found us, we just got bored.
