The best I know of came from a neighbor. Once every week or so, some highshool idiots would deliberately crash into his garbage can when he put it on the street for pickup. He filled his garbage can with bricks.

Someone kept hitting our mailbox, like hitting the box part and then pushing down the stand. So my dad dug a hole, poured concrete into it and put the stand in. Then he attached a thick metal plate to the inside on both sides of the mailbox. A few weeks later, I heard a crash outside the house. Looked out and whoever it was had fucked up their truck by driving to hit it. Needless to say, the mailbox is still standing. (:
