Yeah, happened to me twice. Once, I dreamt that one of my best friends tortured my cat. I knew it was a dream, but it left such a strong impression that I couldn't talk to him for a couple of days. The second time, I dreamt one of my house mates, who I got along with great, came out of the closet by hugging me and telling me he liked me. It was so absurdly shocking and unexpected that again I was traumatized for a couple of days.

My boyfriend used to dream about me sleeping with his brother. I would always go to his place after school and bring him treats, like chips and pop. I woke him up one day, with chips, and he laid there, glaring at me, while eating the chips. He got almost through the entire bag before he realized it was a dream. I was in tears from laughing so hard.

i'm pretty sure this is just a female thing. whenever these threads pop up i have yet to notice many, if any, men have this problem. an ex-girlfriend who did this crap explained that, for whatever reason, the strong emotional feelings would carry over to when she is awake and it is next to impossible to rationalize them properly when she was awake, let alone half awake.

I got woken up by a housemate during a really awesome sex dream which pissed me off pretty bad. Does that count?

when i was younger, i dreamed that my family had moved house, and i hated the new house and wanted to go back to the old one. When i woke up i was still pissed off at my parents and didnt talk to them. It wasn't until about half way through breakfast that i realised i was still in my old house and had no reason to be annoyed.

These threads pop up every now and then, and for the most part this is a problem that affects women. Don't know why.
