"Kind of on but off topic. The whole "no one under X will know this." Some are bringing up is a ridiculous statement. I'm 29 and know what an 8 track, Ford Pinto, wax cylinder, spats, pet rock etc are even though I've never seen any in real life. People younger than you aren't idiots who don't know what old things are. That being said I'd say the saying "Changing gears" is sadly becoming obsolete here in America. "

""Boot up your computer" "
Not a saying but the 'click' sound my phone (digital camera) makes when you snap a pic.
""Roll up your windows" Kids will never understand with the button that lifts up the window why it's called rolling "
A mix. Although that's slowly being replaced to 'playlist'.
"Mobile phone. Mobile phones nowadays are computers, and only one of their many functions is "telephone". "
""Hang Up" e.g. Hang up the phone. "
""Dashboard" is one that hadn't occurred to me until recently. A dashboard was originally an actual wooden board attached to the front of a buggy to keep passengers from being dashed with mud from the horse's hooves. "
""cool" It seems to me we've gotten enough mileage out of that. "
""Dial a number" Nobody dials shit. "
