What was your first tattoo? If you've never had one, then how come?

This is my first tattoo, forgive the picture quality it's on my phone. The two doves are for my grandmother and my best friends mother. Both were very influential women in my life who passed on from cancer. I will never ever regret it. They both shaped who I am as a woman. I may never get another tattoo, but I may. I feel like the feeling behind my first one set a high standard and now I will think long and hard about anything else.

I never got a tattoo because there is no symbol or drawing that I like enough to have on my body forever.

I don't have one, but I'm not against it. I'm a big advocate of the idea that tattoos should mean something, and I just haven't found that yet. A tattoo should be thoughtful and meaningful.

Because anything you can think of is probably cliche. And you are stuck with it for life.

If I asked someone what their favourite song was once a year, it would probably change all the time, because tastes always change. This could apply to a lot of things, such as tattoos. I know I'm not always going to like it.

I can't get one. It will make things too easy when it comes time to put out wanted posters.

I'm all about being different...which is why I probably will never get anything tattooed on my body. My friends, co-workers, even my boss has a tattoo. Plus the mere fact that my mom wants one is enough for me to say hell to the no.

I have commitment issues. Also, It's fucking gross when you get old. That being said, the only tattoo I would ever consider would be a grape, so when I'm all old and wrinkly, it'll turn into a raisin.
