Why would anyone use virtualbox instead of hyper-v on Windows 10? Is there a special feature that virtualbox has but hyper-v don't?

Never used hyper v because I've been using virtual machines before hyper v even existed so I could say part laziness part company policy. Are you able to fine tune your vm parameters and emulate multiple network and serial ports in hyper v like in virtual box? Easily pass through usb as well? Performance wise I'd guess they would be pretty similar actually, both make use of whatever hw extensions are available and both suck when compared to a Linux kvm or any baremetal hypervisor

Virtualbox is type 2 but hyper-v is type 1 making it much faster than VB. Also HV is more simple to use and it's built in Windows. I don't want a debate on which one is better, I'm just wondering if there's a special feature that VB has or things VB can do but hyper-v can't
