If WB put you in charge to fix the DCEU, what would you do to complete the given task?

Build it up, slow and steady. Don't expect to be able to make The Avengers straight out of the gate. Take the characters who need an establishing movie, and give them one. Batman don't need an establishing movie, Batman just needs a couple of scenes to establish what kind of Batman we're dealing with. Superman don't need an establishing movie, Superman is the eponymous super hero. Throw shit at the wall and see what sticks. Does Aquaman work in a standalone movie? Does Cyborg work in a standalone movie? Okay, how about Atom? Can we bring in some persistent, interesting side-characters throught the films who do not necessarily need their own film? Wonder Girl? Elongated Man? Zatanna? Take the characters who might have actual on-screen chemistry, and form that up to be the JLA. I'll take a Big Barda and Red Arrow based JLA movie if it involves more than two dimensional chracters jammed in sideways.

Nerf Superman, or make him the bad guy - he's too powerful, and I feel like they went out of their way to show that the rest of the Justice League are useless compared to him. But even if he were the bad guy, the others would just have space rocks and it wouldn't be super hard to take him down... so yeah, Superman re-design or just keep him dead.

Bring back Geoff Johns ad the President of DC Films division, completely separate out their studio division from WB executive meddling, hire writers from the DC animated universe, bring on directors with unique, creative styles and let them do their thing, and restart the movie series with a Green Lantern movie.

Wait 5 years for public perception to reset. Hire new actors with multi-movie commitments. Hire top-rated DC comics authors to write scripts. Stay the fuck away from Zack Snyder. Release three foundational movies (probably the Wonder-Super-Bat Trinity) all writhing two years. No origin stories (although key flashbacks would be appropriate)! Include tie-ins to other characters. Put out a group movie. Fully include other characters previously referenced. Flesh out other characters in stand-alone movies. That's the baseline, I think. Have to see where it goes from there.

As an Fanboy, here Crisis. You get the lapsed fans that may not care about anymore will at least give you the chance to see a crisis movie. Make it a Multimedia event? They got a streaming service, bring them in. CW shows that have different earths? Cameos. Justice League in the movies or whatever, have this be the great big battle. Even bring in the comics, just another day in the multiverse for them. Kill off or recast whoever you want and streamline it for a reboot while also a massive multi marketing push.

"Doing some alternative universes instead of this "every movie has to lead to somethign bigger" bullshit. Do something like Superman: Red Son Where you basically have Batman vs Superman but they're both communists. Clearly Marvel is planning to do this at one point... The fact they've shown a scene with Stan Lee with the Watchers (who supposedly view all universes, including alternate ones) and have said that Stan Lee is the same character across all movies, seems like a leadup to that. "
