Parents of movie extras, do you ever choke up or even cry if you see your child die in a film?

"I've worked on several films. Can't speak to watching the film, but did get to see a couple of young people "die" and during the actual filming in all cases the parents looked away, they couldn't bear to watch it. Related funny story - during preproduction for a horror film, we needed photographs for serial killers' trophy wall, so we made up several people with horrific bruises/wounds/etc and took pictures. My niece was one of the "victims" with very realistic makeup of a ragged gash opening her throat. We were doing the photos in the house in the middle of suburbia where the shooting was going to be. After her photos but before she was cleaned off my niece (a 15 yr old goth girl at the time) thought it would be hilarious to stand out in the front yard and wave at passing traffic. She got quite a few reactions from that. "

I heard in Planet Terror the director whose name eludes me used his son for the child death because he didn't want to put anyone else through that. No idea how true.
My younger brother is trying to be an actor (he's 14) and he's been an extra in a few movies. My mom says that she will never let him die on screen. Fortunately, that hasn't been an issue yet.
"My little brother invited my parents to a college play called "The Yellow Boat", which, unbeknownst to them starred him as a little boy dying of cancer... for 2 hours. He's a good actor... I seriously think he scarred them. "
I'm not a parent, but my father is the guy who dies by falling through the roof in the day after tomorrow. I saw the premiere of it when I was little and it scarred me- I still can't keep myself from crying any time I see
I've died in a few lower budget movies. (I'm a terrible actor) I tell my parents that they can't watch them because I die and no parent should see that, but really it's because I'm naked when I die in both films.
"My friend, Mitch Miller, was on 1000 Ways to Die. He lit a firework that exploded in another dude's throat, and... I was seriously so giddy just about the fact that I recognized my friend, I was laughing so hard, even with all the terrible/cheesy stuff that was happening on screen. "Mitch! Noooooo!!!!!!!! Don't do it! NOOOO!!!!!!" "
My father used to work on a old Canadian TV show called Katts & Dog (as Assistant Director, I think, not as an actor). For one episode they made him this bad guy, who gets chased, then attacked by a dog at the end of the show. I remember watching it when it aired--I was, like, 8 years old and it made me really upset even though I watched them film the episode. Actually managed to find a clip! My parents cry at everything, so I don't know if I'm any help, but they've seen me die several times and cried each time.
My cousin was an extra in a History Channel special about the Vietnam War. My grandfather was excited about it and wanted to record it. He about lost his shit when he realized my cousin was cast as a Viet Cong.
