The best pizza I've had I made myself: I made an artichoke pesto sauce (grind two cans artichoke hearts, 3 cloves garlic, container of basil, 1/2 cup pine nuts, 1 cup Parmesan and olive oil in a food processor), spread that on the dough, sprinkled on tons of shredded mozzarella, topped that with slices grilled sausage and sliced tomatoes, and put that in the oven until it got crisp.

I know where the best pizza is not located...Manny and Olga's on Georgia ave Washington DC...ate there once and had a stomach ache for like 3 days

If you ever find yourself in MI, make sure to find Buddy's to get some perfect Detroit-style pizza. And Lou Malnati's is amazing! I was recently in Chicago and ate there 3 times in 3 days.

I love-and will always love- Shakeys Pizza place in Tokyo. I think its a chain and possibly even available in other countries but Japanese pizza is amazing!

In Louisville, Spinelli's is definitely the best pizza joint I've ever been to. Now they're doing some chain restaurants. I love it.
