Why are giant creatures/robots in movies portrayed as moving in almost slow motion?

Perspective. Something gigantic could in fact be moving extremely fast but would still look incredibly slow because of how large it is. If something had an arm the size of the empire State building it could be moving at 400 KPH and still look relatively slow compared to it's overall size.

Because the bigger you are the slower you move, signals can only move so fast. For example if you were huge, like the size of a skyscraper your neurons which transmit signals at around 250 mph are vastly slower due to distance between parts. So you coudlnt move very fast.

Because of size? Look at how slow a wind turbine appears to spins. Thats actually 230km/h

Things with more mass require more force to move them a smaller distance. Therefore larger things accelerate slower than smaller things.
