2020 sucks but what is one good thing that happened to you this year?

[longish post] Ironically, a lot of the bad things caused my ex and I to reconnect after about a year of silence. She left me her dogs for my own mental health, and I had to contact her when one of them died, which was sad but she didn't blame me. After that, the quarantine just kind of gave us the opportunity to reflect and talk, and we took turns thinking over the break up, apologizing for our various faults in what happened, talking through things. We're at a point that I never expected where we're not officially getting back together but the possibility is there, and we've discussed couple's therapy if we do, and other things. Right now she's not ready to let anyone in, and so we're focusing on repairing the friendship/relationship as a whole, and not pursuing a romantic relationship. It's a pleasant redemption arc in our history regardless of what kind of relationship is in our future.
