Boy Scout Camp. Scoutmaster had a gun he thought was empty. he Passed it to me so I could hold it. (I know this sounds nutty but hey it was 1965) I was 10 or 11 at the time I think, but I'm not positive. Regardless of that, immediately after he handed it to me, dumb-ass kid that I was, and I immediately pointed the gun as a joke at a friends face and ALMOST... pulled the trigger. But I didn't. Scoutmaster sees this and yells.. HEY, never point a gun at anyone as a joke, even if it's not loaded. I was embarrassed and handed the gun back to him at that point. I swear I almost pulled that trigger but for some reason I didn't. Turns out the gun was loaded, which I didn't realize until later. I can remember this event of almost 50 years ago like it was yesterday. And I cringe to think what may have been the other possible outcome.

I had a large carving knife out, ready to slice up my downstairs neighbor's pal, who came up to complain about my crying baby. We'd been here for 5 years at the time he was an occasional sleepover. THE Fuck you gonna move in on my territory, pal!

When I was 10 I once though mixing bleach and ammonia to mop a floor would make it clean enough to eat off of, so I took a bottle of bleach and a bottle of ammonia and poured then together in a mop pail. I then got distracted and played around for a bit. Took a 20 minute nap afterwards. Luckily, the 'ammonia' bottle was just full of water and hadn't contained ammonia for several months. Considering that this was during a cold winter day all of the doors and windows were shut (and the screns were covered with a glass pane)... if that bottle had actually contained ammonia my mother, father, 3 brothers, sister, 2 dogs, cousin, friend, and I would all have died that day.

Parade day in Scarnton, PA. i was drunk, and tryign to cut through a crowd of people, i saw a gap in the crowd so i went towards it. it was a baby carriage. i tripped over it and almsot knocked it over, trashy mother flipped a world of shit on me. good news is i saw it last minute and was able to avoid anything serious. but i always wonder what woulda happened if i didnt see it :P

Unprotected sex in HS, every time I had to pullout and almost didn't get a chance...and then gf's troll periods would be late for no fucking reason...I thought I was a father at least 2 times
