"During the Shining, during the scene where Jack is bitching to Lloyd the bartender about how hard he has it, there is a small, blink and you'll miss it moment where he smiles and looks at the camera. It's right after he says, "it could have happened to anybody". I have never seen anyone bring it up, and only noticed it from watching the movie again recently. It's pretty creepy, and to my recollection it's the only time someone from the movie ever looks into the camera. And it's barely visible. I'm not sure what it signifies, but due to how famously perfectionist Kubrick is over his movies, there is no way that it wasn't intentional, or left in there for some reason. I think it might be a nod to the audience about how any person is just a hair away from going insane, not just Jack. Which is the real horror of the movie. EDIT: by looking at the camera, I mean not at any other character but directly at the audience "

Deadpool 2 stingers where Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) shoots the 2009 version (X-Men Origins) of Deadpool (also played by Ryan Reynolds) in the head and then multiple times in his ass. Then he proceeds to shoot the real-life Ryan Reynolds in the head after finishing the script for Green Lantern.

In Big Mouth Season 2 where they spend a good 5 minutes advertising Netflix to the people who pirated the show in a subtle way. Also, when Coach Steve totally knows I skipped the opening credits.

"TV series not a movie: In the Stargate SG-1 episode where they find out there's a TV show (in their universe) that's based around rumours about the Stargate program called Wormhole X-Treme and there's a documentary about the making of Wormhole X-Treme (still with me?) and they're interviewing the lead actor from that show (within our show) and he says something like "I'm who plays in WXT who's based off Colonel Jack O'Neill from Stargate who's played by Richard Dean Anderson." Then there's a beat and a confused look and he says "Wait, what level are we at again?" The scene changes and it's not referenced ever again. "
