"There is a good example of this. A post rock band (awesome band, one of my favorites) Called Explosions in the sky. Regarding their second album. "Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Die, Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Live Forever, featured a plane on the cover with a note in the album's booklet saying "this plane will crash tomorrow." Keep it as 7/11 because if it happened two months earlier it would be the 11th of July.. Which is the 11/7. Give me a good reason why you put the month before the date.

After the 22nd July mass shooting in Norway, some of the media started abbreviating the shooter's name to ABB, which is the name of a large energy/automation company. They asked nicely for people to stop using that abbreviation, and the media agreed. Worked out fine.
