When can we start to see the US opening the border to the UK and Europe, and how long do you think this will be?

Who knows this administration has been unpredictable to say the least. The two factors I'm most interested in are: 1) there's no constitutional protection for international travel (domestic, yes), so they technically don't ever have to open the border again and 2) America and Brazil are currently competing for the title of Most Incompetent Response to Pandemic, so even if we allow travel in and out of America, the UK and Europe may not come here or may not let us in if we travel there.

I don't think Europe is going to be opened for people from the United states anytime soon.

Soon probably, different states are already starting a slow reopening, so it shouldn't be long, maybe a month or two at most

The question should be, when will Europe open the border to the US. America is slowly getting past the point where they determine what will happen in the world.

We aren't even sure we will be able to go to other European countries this summer so I really think US/UK and all the other badly affected countries will not be an option at all. (I am in Europe) Edit : And we have to quarantine after coming back from abroad. I don't even have enough vacations to go abroad, quarantine there and go back home and quarantine.
