UK citizens that voted for Brexit, what would be your response if in the next 5-10 years there was a referendum to rejoin the EU?

I'd be really disappointed that we had to go through it all again so soon after it's finished. I'm not opposed to there being another referendum at some point. Opinions change and I was grateful that we had the opportunity to decide last time. To be honest though, I can't really see it happening. The EU isn't going to be anywhere near as a generous in its offer if we rejoined and it would be a difficult political sell for a party to say they wanted to rejoin the EU on worse terms that we had before. Any negotiations where we ended up worse off than last time would be deemed as a massive political failure. Who wants to take that risk? Probably no one.

Even if they held a referendum to get back in that doesn't mean the EU is going to let them rejoin.

"The EU likely won't exist in a couple more decades, so it's quite pointless re-boarding a sinking ship. However, I would vote "No" to rejoining it if such a referendum occurred. "

I feel like it wouldn't be worth it. Leaving the EU has cost the country SO much money and caused so many problems that possibly weren't expected. It's been such a big mess that rejoining again in the future - although it has it's positives - people might be put off by the whole cost and hassle of it all again.
